How does the clay harden, and how should I store it?
Our air-dry clay sets by itself in 24–48 hours, with no kiln needed! Special fibers mixed in make it dry strong and smooth. Want leftovers to stay soft? Close them up in the resealable bag, and do not let the clay sit exposed for long because it begins to dry. Once your piece is finished, brush on a layer of Sculpd varnish for a tough, ceramic-style surface.
Do I need anything other than what's in the kit?
It is all packed inside the boxes!
You will find every tool, the clay, wax, wicks, sticks, fragrance oils, and the instructions required to get started in each kit. Since no kiln is involved, you can forget the studio and enjoy a snug date night at home instead.
The single extra item is a microwave for melting the wax in its bag - after 4 minutes it is ready.
